Social media videos, verified by Reuters and the BBC, appeared to show the moment and, while it remains unclear whether the beach was the intended target, it is clear that Ukraine is entering a new phase in its long-range strike campaign, targeting sites within Russia. It appears Kyiv is now turning its attention to logistics networks, writes the Guardian’s Russian affairs correspondent, Pjotr Sauer. So far, Ukraine has struck 13 major warehouses belonging to Wildberries, the country’s largest e-commerce company, killing at least nine civilians.
