Hungary Elects Ousted Judge Andras Baka as New President

Hungary’s National Assembly has elected Dr. Andras Baka as President of the Republic, in a move widely seen as a break with Viktor Orban’s approach to power. Baka, a former Supreme Court judge, was removed under Orban before the European Court of Human Rights ruled his dismissal unfair.
