Families from Umarda village in Sudan’s North Kordofan say Rapid Support Forces attacks killed relatives and left many missing as they fled to El Obeid. The RSF, battling the army for territory, raided several villages in retaliation after the military retook towns and a key highway to Khartoum. More than 200,000 people have now sought refuge in El Obeid, which has also been hit by drone strikes damaging water and electricity. Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan reports.
