Ireland pushes EU to ban Israeli settlement goods as West Bank attacks rise

Sanctions against settlers in the occupied West Bank are likely to be high on the agenda of a meeting of European ministers in Ireland this week. With attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank at a record high, Dublin is promising to use its presidency of the European Council to push for a bloc-wide ban on all goods produced in illegal settlements.
