Two years of Sinaloa cartel war leave Mexico's Culiacan living in fear

Two years after fighting erupted between rival factions of Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel, violence continues to grip the state despite the deployment of 15,000 troops. Thousands have been killed or disappeared, more than 5,000 businesses have closed and 27,000 jobs lost. The conflict, pitting sons of Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán against those loyal to Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada, has also implicated the state's governor, now on leave amid US trafficking allegations.
