US CENTCOM: Hormuz remains open as US monitors Houthi threat near Bab al-Mandab

US CENTCOM spokesman Captain Tim Hawkins discusses the security of two vital Middle East shipping routes: the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Hawkins says the Strait of Hormuz remains open to commercial traffic despite pressure from Iran, with the US military facilitating the movement of millions of barrels of oil.
