Five men were arrested in Whelford, near the Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford base in southwestern England, on Sunday on suspicion of explosives offences after suspicious vehicles were reported. Assistant chief constable Richard Ocone of Gloucestershire police said armed officers arrested the men after receiving a call around 12.45am regarding 'three suspicious vehicles traveling towards RAF Fairford'.
