iPhone Duo's small outer screen prompts minimalist Focus Mode update

סיכום מאמר

iPhone Duo's small outer screen is driving a minimalist redesign of Focus Mode in the upcoming iOS 27 beta, as newly discovered code references reveal. The update relocates the Focus Mode icon to the area above the camera cutout on the lock screen and introduces a compact, dedicated button that activates the mode directly from the outer display. This adjustment aims to maintain usability despite the limited screen real estate, offering users a streamlined way to manage notifications and app access without opening the main interface. AppleInsider notes that the changes are still in beta, but they signal a broader effort to tailor iOS features to the Duo’s unique form factor. The move highlights Apple’s focus on optimizing system‑level tools for foldable devices while keeping the user experience intuitive and uncluttered.
