Trump says Russia and Ukraine agree to 'energy ceasefire'

Trump has blamed Ukraine for rising diesel prices and suggested Zelenskyy should be replaced, prompting the Ukrainian president to offer to hold elections if Russia agrees to a 60-day ceasefire. The US decision to allow Russian diesel onto global markets has also drawn criticism from Democrats and Republicans, who warn that the revenue could help fund Moscow's war. In Kyiv, a senior Ukrainian official says no agreement has been communicated, while Ukrainians question whether halting strikes on Russian oil facilities would benefit their country.
