UK PM Burnham unveils more financial powers for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has met the leaders of Scotland and Wales in Glasgow for a meeting of the National Economic Council focused on creating new jobs and economic growth. Burnham said the Scottish and Welsh first ministers had accepted the offer he made in Motherwell to work jointly on regional empowerment in both nations, with officials on each side now carrying out detailed work to find arrangements that are right for Scotland and Wales and get growth going at ground level.
