Gaza’s displaced rebuild from debris as winter deepens the crisis

Palestinians in Gaza are enduring harsh winter conditions in tents and makeshift shelters. The UN says about 1.5 million people are displaced, with up to 90% of homes damaged or destroyed. A severe shortage of construction materials is forcing families to rebuild using mud and rubble. Some collect and sell mud to help others reinforce shelters against cold and wind.
