UAE contains fire near Dubai International Airport, suspends flights after drone attack

Authorities in Dubai say a drone incident near the International Airport has damaged a fuel tank on site. The Dubai Government Media Office says a fire broke out following the incident but has since been brought under control by civil defence teams. Officials say no injuries have been reported so far. Dubai’s Civil Aviation Authority has temporarily suspended flights at Dubai International Airport as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
