Northern Iraq air strikes: US targets HQ of popular mobilization forces

Iraq's National Security Council has authorised the Iran-aligned Popular Mobilisation Forces to defend itself, following a US attack on its headquarters. The strike on Tuesday killed at least 15 members of the armed group, which is integrated into Iraq's armed forces.
