Trump hinted at possible deal with Iran, but not ruling out ground invasion

The US President says his forces could seize Iran's main oil export hub. Donald Trump made the remarks in an interview with the Financial Times, saying Kharg Island could be taken “very easily”. Speaking later on Air Force One, Donald Trump said regime change has already been accomplished in Iran, and a deal could come soon. Meanwhile the speaker of Iran's parliament has accused the US of plotting a ground offensive, despite President Trump's talk of a potential deal. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says his country's forces are ready to "rain fire" on any invading troops.
