Israel expands ground invasion in Lebanon as UN warns of ‘new occupation’

There have been more Israeli strikes on villages in southern Lebanon. Israeli forces are expanding their attacks in the region as they continue to occupy the area. Israel's defence minister has said all houses in the villages near the border in Lebanon will be destroyed “in accordance with the model of Rafah and Beit Hanoun in Gaza”.
