Senegal has banned all but essential foreign travel by government ministers to cut costs because of a deepening energy crisis linked to the Iran war. Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko said Senegal’s budget was based on oil at 62 dollars a barrel but prices have almost doubled after disruptions to supplies.
