China, Russia veto UN Security Council resolution on Strait of Hormuz

A Bahraini resolution at the UN Security Council to address Iranian attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz has failed after Russia and China both used their veto power. Bahrain's foreign minister told the council that Iran's attacks in the Strait endanger the wellbeing and livelihoods of millions of people around the world.
