Iran's IRGC warns Israel will regret Lebanon strikes as ceasefire under pressure

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has warned Israel that it will "regret" its continued attacks on Lebanon, with Tehran interpreting the Israeli air strikes as a breach of the ceasefire agreement, which Iran insists includes all fronts across the region including Lebanon. Attacks were reported on Lavan Island and a drone was downed in Fars province in central Iran, with Iranian officials viewing these incidents as further violations. The IRGC has released a new map showing directions for ship routes through the Strait of Hormuz, stating there is "no green light for ships and vessels belonging to the adversaries" — in line with Tehran's position that the strait is open to everyone but closed to adversaries. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told his French counterpart in a phone call that "it is not us, but the wartime situation that has resulted in the closure of this strait." Meanwhile, an Iranian delegation is reportedly heading to Islamabad for talks, though details remain unclear after the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan deleted a post announcing their arrival. Iran's army spokesperson stated that while engaged in negotiations, there is a "lack of trust" and Iran is ready for "any sort of scenario, including another round of confrontation."
