Aftermath of Israeli strikes in Lebanon as government calls for direct talks

Israel has launched over 100 strikes on Lebanon, killing at least 203 people. The attacks began hours after a ceasefire was reached between the US, Israel and Iran. The Lebanese government says it is trying to reach a deal with Israel to end the violence. But in a statement issued through the information minister, the Lebanese President emphasized it must be the government that is involved in the negotiations.
