Panama Canal sees surge in LNG traffic as war on Iran fuels global shipping uncertainty

The shock to global shipping because of the Iran war is being felt far from the Gulf. Iran has restricted passage of tankers and vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. But on the other side of the world, in Panama, canal authorities say traffic is rising above expectations.
