Man arrested after stabbing two Jewish people in Golders Green

A man has been arrested after he was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and 'attempting to stab Jewish members of the public', the Jewish security group Shomrim has said on social media. The Metropolitan police said they 'confronted a man they believed to be a terrorist, who refused to show his hands, who was violent and continued to pose a clear threat', they added that the officers who intervened were not armed and 'feared that he was carrying an explosive device'.
