Palestinian journalist Ali al-Samoudi freed after enduring torture in Israeli detention

After a year in Israeli detention without trial or charge, Palestinian journalist Ali al-Samoudi has been released. The Palestinian Prisoners' Society says Samoudi faced a systematic starvation policy at the prison. It also says he faced abuse and torture under Israeli detention.
