Report alleges Israel operated a secret military base in Iraq during Iran war

A new report alleges Israel secretly operated a covert military outpost deep inside the Iraqi desert during the recent conflict with Iran. According to the report, the alleged base served as a logistical hub for Israeli air operations and included surveillance systems, helicopters, military vehicles, and advanced jamming equipment. The operation was reportedly nearly exposed after a shepherd spotted helicopters in the area, prompting Iraqi security forces to investigate. Iraqi officials say troops later came under intense aerial fire, leaving one soldier dead and two others wounded. Baghdad has since raised concerns over Iraqi sovereignty and submitted an official protest to the US-led coalition.
