Lebanon’s economy has been in crisis for years long before the latest conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. The war is making the situation worse. Economy minister Amer Bisat has told Al Jazeera that Lebanon is estimated to have lost up to two billion dollars so far, roughly seven percent of the GDP with reconstruction expected to cost billions of dollars more.
