Bolivia at ‘breaking point’ as protests spark fuel and food shortages

Bolivia’s President Rodrigo Paz has warned the country is at a “breaking point” after weeks of antigovernment protests sparked by a deepening economic crisis. Demonstrations and road blockades have caused shortages of food, fuel and life-saving medicine.
