שדד רכבים והותיר את בעליהם בצד הדרך - לוחמי יחידת הגדעונים בלהב 433 יחד עם כוחות מחוז ש"י, עצרו פלסטיני תושב דאהרייה לאחר שהצליח לחמוק פעמים רבות על פי החשד, במהלך השנה האחרונה היה החשוד מעורב במעשי שוד כלי רכב, זאת לאחר שאיתר בפייסבוק כלי רכב למכירה והתעניין לרכוש את רכבם של הקורבנות. כך למשל, בחודש יולי אשתקד, הגיע תושב ערד שבדרום אל מעבר מיתר לשם מכירת רכבו. לאחר שהחשוד בחן חיצונית את הרכב, ביקש לעשות סיבוב במגרש החניה, החל בנהיגה ומאז אבדו עקבותיו. במקרה נוסף שהתרחש חודש לאחר מכן, התעניין החשוד במודעת רכב למכירה שאיתר ברשת החברתית. גם במקרה זה, קבע החשוד עם המוכר הצעיר במגרש החניה שליד מעבר מיתר והשניים נפגשו. בשלב מסוים, ביקש החשוד לנהוג ברכב, בנסיעה יחד עם הקורבן ולפתע, החל להאיץ למהירות גבוהה במיוחד עד שהגיעו לצומת סמוע, שם עצר את הרכב והורה לקורבן בתקיפות לצאת מהרכב והשאירו שם לבדו, עד להגעת שוטרי תחנת חברון שהוזעקו למקום. לאחר שנעשו מגוון פעולות וניסיונות לעצור את החשוד החמקן, הבוקר בפעילות משותפת ומדויקת, אותר החשוד בדהרייה, ניסה שוב לחמוק ולהימלט אך ללא הצלחה ובריחתו סוכלה תוך ירי מדויק לעבר רגליו. לאחר טיפול רפואי בשטח ומעצרו, הוא הועבר להמשך טיפול רפואי בבי"ח שלאחריו, יובא לחקירה בתחנת המשטרה בחברון. At a certain stage, the suspect asked to drive the car with the victim inside. He suddenly began accelerating to an extremely high speed until they reached the Samu'a junction, where he stopped the car, forcefully ordered the victim to exit, and left him there alone until the arrival of Hebron station police officers who were summoned to the scene. Following various operations and attempts to arrest the elusive suspect, he was located this morning in Dhahiriya during a joint and precise operation. He attempted to evade capture and flee again, but was unsuccessful, and his escape was thwarted by precise gunfire directed at his legs.
