South Africa deploys police as anti-immigrant protests prompt fears

Thousands of people have taken to the streets in multiple cities across South Africa, calling for undocumented foreigners to leave the country. It's the culmination of weeks of protests, organised by citizen-led groups with the backing of some opposition political parties. They've set an unofficial June 30 deadline for all undocumented foreigners to leave. South Africa's government has rejected the deadline but says people do have the right to protest.
